Allergy-Friendly & Grain-Free for Sensitive Dogs

Hypoallergenic Treats for Dogs with Sensitivities

If a dog is on a hypoallergenic or grain-free diet, then their treats must also be free of the food that has caused the issue. If treats contain problematic ingredients, your dog may experience a return of allergy symptoms. Many dogs have allergies or sensitivities to many ingredients that are normally found in their food. If a dog has an intolerance to a food they eat, this can trigger symptoms such as…

  • Skin irritation (itchy or sore)
  • Digestive problems and stomach upset
  • Sore or infected ears
  • Sore or infected eyes

Common dog food allergens include

  • Wheat, corn and other grains
  • Chicken, beef and other animal proteins
  • Eggs
  • Dairy

If your dog is on a special diet prescribed by a veterinarian, please follow their instructions. Have a look at the full ingredient list on each of the product pages. If you have been told to avoid any of the food types above, then all our treats are suitable.

Handcrafted and Preservative-Free

All our treats are handcrafted by us in our bakery. We don’t just repackage treats produced in a factory and call them our own. We only use premium human-grade ingredients in all the biscuits we bake which means carefully sourcing ingredients that can be preserved naturally by dehydration, without adding in any chemicals.

Limited Ingredient Dog Treats

All our dog treats start with a base of gram flour. Gram flour is made with chickpeas which makes it grain and gluten-free, naturally high in protein and fibre and low in calories. If peanut butter is used, it is made from 100% peanuts. This ensures it is free of palm oil and xylitol, which is toxic to dogs.

If there is no peanut butter in the ingredients, then coconut oil is added (the only added fat we use) which can help to promote a healthy coat and skin.

We use fruit and vegetables to help add vitamins and minerals to your dogs’ diet, we believe treats should contribute to your dog's overall health! It is important to know that the simpler the ingredient, the easier it is for the dogs’ body to absorb and reap the benefits.
